Summary
The chapter begins by showing Byakuya’s Senbonzakura Kageyoshi destroying Zomari and a huge explosion followed.
Zomari was heavily injured and said that he won’t forgive Byakuya. He then attempted to control Byakuya but his plan was thwarted by Byakuya’s Kidou Spell 81. Byakuya had earlier observed in the fight that this spell can defend against any other Kidou Spells less than number 89, and his assumption was right. Zomari was at his wits’ ends and Byakuya placed his sword at Zomari’s neck. Zomari then begged him for mercy and even said that the Death Gods are arrogant and think that they are always right. He felt that they have no right to pass judgement on them, hollows, much less kill them.
Byakuya then proceeded to explain that the only reason why he was going to kill Zomari was because he stomped his pride. Zomari then sort of went crazy and shouted out Aizen-sama’s name, disappearing into dust shortly after. Byakuya then told Isane Kotetsu to come out. She was sent by the 4th Squad Captain, Unohana, and followed the spirit force of Hanatarou and found Byakuya here.
The next scene showed a short preview of Captain Mayuri’s battle with the 8th Espada. Mayuri was seen kneeling down in front of the 8th Espada and seemed to be at a disadvantage.
End

You are doomed, Zomari.

The finishing blow by Byakuya

Zomari has gone mad!!!

Oh no!!! Mayuri’s in trouble!!!
Personal Opinions
Nice conclusion to the fight of Byakuya. This battle really shows how strong Byakuya is, and it’s as if he doesn’t even need to break a sweat to defeat Zomari. If he had used his Bankai right at the start of the battle, he would have won in an instant without having to suffer any injuries. When you compare him with Captain Hitsugaya, you can easily see the massive difference in power. Not that I think that Captain Hitsugaya is weak, but seriously he is one of the weakest captains. His Shikai, Hyourinmaru, can’t do no shit to the 10th Espada, Yammy. I guess the only thing that he’s good in will have to be the fact that he’s cute and he’s young. Being young, he’ll naturally have lots of time and potential to become much stronger than the present him. Let’s hope that he’ll indeed grow stronger in the future.
One funny thing in this chapter is definitely Zomari. WHAT A CRAPPER HE IS!!! BEGGING BYAKUYA FOR MERCY?!? YOU’RE OUT OF YOUR MIND!!! What’s even funnier is that he momentarily went mad in the end when he just shouted out “Banzai!” and Aizen-sama’s name. I see no meaning to that. Anyway, we’re all happy to see him gone, because this will mean that Kenpachi’s match is drawing near!!!
The final picture also showed Mayuri kneeling down. This is one great trait of Kubo Tite. He never fails to turn the tide around for the protagonists. Although I really hate Mayuri (Yes, he sucks, especially that irritating voice of his.), I still hope that he’ll win against the 8th Espada. Best of lucks to him in the next chapter.

You also forgot to mention that Byakuya’s “pride” is actually Rukia~ ^_^
It’s why there is a panel shown right next to the one where he says, “You pointed your blade at my pride.”
"Why does he always say things which make people misunderstand! That idiot."

That 8th Espada is such a pain :P he seems to have power coming out of his earlobes. I hope the Yoshimitsu captain puts him a test tube for ‘studying’ :)
