La Tendo Shop @ Leisure Park Kallang

After seeing all those advertisements on the MRT promoting a new shopping centre, Leisure Park Kallang, I just can’t wait to check it out. Best of all, La Tendo Shop has also relocated from Sunshine Plaza to here. This is most probably the main reason which attracted me to go there this afternoon.

For those who want to visit this new shopping centre too, just take an MRT ride and alight at Kallang station. From there, take Bus Number 11 and alight at the third stop.

La Tendo sure has secured a good location; It’s located right in front of the escalator at the second floor. Let’s take a look at the interior of the shop.

Similar to the previous shop in Sunshine Plaza, the new La Tendo shop also has LOTS of figures on display behind glass cabinets. It really is a joy to browse through all of them slowly.

Not sure what are these…

It would have been a perfect trip if not for the heavy rain. I was drenched wet before I even knew it. I would advise anyone who is going to Leisure Park Kallang to bring an umbrella along. The shopping centre is located in a VERY secluded place and there is no shelter for you to hide from the rain. Mark my words.

Also, I’ve finally bought my FIRST EVER FIGURE!!! HOORAY!!! BANZAI!!!

No, it’s not bought in La Tendo Shop. I made my purchase in Miniature Hobby, a not-so-well-known-as-KKnM shop in Marina Square. They are currently having a clearance sale and most figures are going at 30% discount. Even the 1/6 Yuki Nagato Bunny Girl figure is selling at only S$34.90. What more can you ask for? I’ll advise every one to make a trip there while you still can before all the ‘good ones’ get taken away. When I saw a figure there which costs only S$27.90, whereas it costs S$93 in some other place, I instantly bought that without any hesitation. I can’t believe I got such a good bargain, and no, it’s not an imitation.

I’ve already asked my friend, Joscelin, to help me take photos of this marvellous figure. Until then, I’m sad to say that she will have to remain in the figure box. Please look forward to my first ever figure shoot soon!

I saw a fake Saber over at Miniature Hobby, so I don’t really like that shop a lot. But the new La Tendo looks good. Maybe I’ll head over for a look soon.

Beware of buying fakes from Miniature Hobby

Thanks for the intro, i think i gonna risk it at Miniature Hobby
