Naruto 385 – Uchiha Madara, The Invincible Immortal!

Summary
The chapter begins by showing Sasuke demanding Itachi to answer his question.
Itachi understood that Sasuke avoided striking a fatal blow on purpose. The question that Sasuke wanted to ask was who was the third Uchiha survivor whom Itachi had told him before. Sasuke aimed to kill that person after killing Itachi. Itachi then answered that that person is Uchiha Madara, one of Konoha Village’s founding fathers, and the first person ever to awaken the Mangekyou Sharingan.
Sasuke was infuriated as he thought that since he was one of the founding fathers, he must have been dead long ago. Itachi then told him that it was up to him to believe him. Then all of a sudden, Sasuke sent a Chidori beam right as his back. He was aiming for the ‘real’ Itachi, but missed him. Sasuke has seen right through Itachi’s Genjutsu.
Itachi then told Sasuke that he still doesn’t has the same eyes as him. Sasuke then dared Itachi to use his Mangekyou Sharingan on him. At this instance, it was shown that Zetsu has been hiding all along, observing their battle above them.
Itachi went on to explain that from the day Mangekyou Sharingan was awakened, the eyes would slowly descend into darkness, and this process would quicken if the technique was used lots of times. This is the equivalence of becoming blind.
At this moment, Itachi activated his Mangekyou Sharingan. He told Sasuke that Madara was the man whose eyes tamed the Kyuubi and controlled it like a pet. He went on and said that Madara is his accomplice and teacher, and the only person in history to learn the Sharingan’s final secret. He is an invincible immortal.

Personal Opinions
Finally! After a stupid 3 weeks looooog break, Naruto is finally back in action! And even though this chapter is not fight-intense, and contains some stupid flashbacks, it’s still worth a read as it sheds some light on Madara, the man other than Pain whom we want to know about most.
I’m actually quite surprised to see that even Itachi knew that Madara is not dead yet. That said, he should know that Tobi is Madara. That said (again), Kisame should know this too. Thus, if Kisame knows, I bet most of the Akatsuki members know too. (Not that there are a lot of them left. Only a pathetic 6.) I see no need for Madara to disguise himself as Tobi anymore. His identity should be revealed soon to all. Another thing about him is that, he is extremely handsome with his cool hair and eyes. As expected of an Uchiha. So far, most of the Uchiha members whom we have seen are handsome, except for Sasuke’s father.
So Madara is immortal. How did he achieve immortality? Through a technique like Orochimaru? I bet this is something which we all want to find out most.
Back to the fight between Sasuke and Itachi. As expected, that was an illusion. Sasuke couldn’t have killed Itachi THAT easily. And now, things would get even tougher for him. Itachi has already activated his Mangekyou Sharingan. Does this spell doom for Sasuke? Also, with the Mangekyou Sharingan, I bet we would be able to see both God of the Moon (Tsukuyomi) and more importantly, God of the Sun (Amaterasu)! So far, God of the Sun has only been used once by Itachi. It’s basically a fire technique. The only special thing about it is that the fire is pure black in colour.
I can’t wait to see how strong God of the Sun is! Will Sasuke be able to defeat this technique, or is he going to counter that with some new techniques he formulated himself? For one, he seemed quite confident. This will most certainly be a great fight.

I still think Itachi has a hidden agenda though; I believe that they are engaging in genjutsu battles to avoid ppl hearing whatever they are talking about.
So a Mangekyou Sharingan user will go blind…. that means the control over the nine tails is only temporary?

From the info given in the interview, looks like Tsunade or maybe even Shinzue will die causing Sakura to train harder. She will learn the slug summons if she does’ent already know them and be strong enough to take out Konan ,Cause that’s most likely is going to be her battle.
Sasuke will battle Itachi and realize he’s still not strong enough, find out about Madara and about the true reason Itachi killed the clan, Maybe he’ll gain the MS in 08 also.
Kakashi’s the one im interested in in seeing what happens too. If i had to guess Kakashi getting a power upgrade this year. If Tsunade dies, he’s Hokage so that could be the big event…what u guyz think???

Naruto dies, believe it!
a good twist would be that Sasuke would Find that he was in a genjutsu all this time, and that in fact, he was the one who killed the Uchiha clan, and Itachi was the one who was left alive.
another good twist is to find that Itachi was in league Madara and hated what his clan had become, so decided to kill the lot of them and start afresh. Sasuke was actually the one who is destined to start the clan again, and Itachi has to take his own life in order for it to happen. Sasuke has missed the point somewhat about having your clan destroyed, its not about revenge, its about getting it back together as quickly as possible.

drag0n5_n@ Amaterasu FTW!!! And I don’t think Kakashi will ever be the Hokage… For no particular reason, he just seems quite weak to me… And yea Konan will most probably be defeated by either Tsunade or Sakura. I hope it’s Tsunade though, as she hasn’t really have any major battles before. As the Hokage, she needs to at least have some cool battles for sure.

Oh and my guess for the final battles of Naruto are:
1) Sasuke will defeat Madara as both are Sharingan users and Madara is the one who annihilated the Uchiha clan together with Itachi.
2) This is quite obvious. Naruto will defeat Pain in order to avenge Jiraiya, his Godfather as well as his teacher. He will most probably release up till the 9th tail for this epic battle.
3) After Akatsuki is destroyed, and there are no more villains, I suppose Naruto and Sasuke (They are the main characters after all.) will have a friendly match with one another. Sasuke will have become good by then. This match will likely be a draw but Naruto will have the upper hand in the end. He will be the Hokage by then after all, and can’t afford to lose to Sasuke.
Since there are only 6 major villains left, I can’t help but feel that Naruto will be ending in about 1 to 2 years’ time. I’ll be anticipating the ending for sure =)

yea naruto killed pein wen he didnt have any tails as he was about to open the 9th one his father stopped him and he defeated him on his own so therefore naruto is stronger than sasuke right now but he cant be madarra yet cause he can make all attacks go dirsctly through him as wen sasuke tried to hit him but went through and sasuke fears madarra at this moment so sasuke will not challenge him for a while

well i don’t think masashi has only plan akatsuki group to be mostly the villain in naruto…he should have plan other things for naruto apart from akatsuki group i suppose!!..it will be too dull for to end naruto in 1 to 2 yrs time….

If madara can control kyuubi like a pet, this means that he was the one who controlled kyuubi for around 12 yrs to destroy konoha..its just a guess ;-)

Madara Uchiha was actually the first person andy only person to have the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan. When he was young, he and his younger brother had the Mangekyo. He eventually grew blind from it, and possessed by the Mangekyo Sharingan he killed his younger brother and stole his eyes. This unlocked the “Eternal” Mangekyo Sharingan. Madara used its power to control the power of the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox and sent it to attack Konoha, but failed because of the Fourth Hokage’s sacrifice. The Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan looks identical to Madara’s first Mangekyo combined with his younger brother’s Mangekyo.

What are you people talking about? Madara is immortal, we all know that; Sasuke is fighting Itachi wo is using Susano and it seems Orochimaru has shown himself again, only to be sealed again. What badluck. And since Sasuke can access Orochimaru’s power, I am sure with Orochimaru sealed now, he can access the powers of all the bodies Orochimaru has used before as well. That is only logical, don’t you think? But Itachi is really proving to be one strong fella and if he is using techniques such as this because he possesses the Mangekyo Sharinga, what do you think Madara is capable of? Afterall, seems to me Itachi only wants Sasuke’s eyes, with or without Mangekyo in them, so he can usurp Madara one day and possible have other plans as well.

you are all wrong sasuke kill itachi for revenge itachi left sasuke alive only to kill him later after developing his sharingan to a point which itachi could take it. Once Uchiha member obtains stolen eyes from another uchiha the cost of the mongenkyo is negated there is not cost or consequence I>E Madara reached immortality by stealing a set of already use Uchiha eyes which means as of now No one in any of the villages has a change against him. But if sasuke was smart he wud have obted kakashi for his eye in exchange or ask how he obtained his mongenkyo in that. how did kakashi get his mongenkyo does that mean he always had it but never used it until killing diadara or did the Uchiha who gave it to him have mongenkyo status which wud have made him one of the final user itachi was talking about but did itachi know he had mongenkyo or not and does he know kakashi has access to it now

This is bs, Tobi is not the true Madara, he is Obito, madara is sealed inside Kyubi, also Itachi didnt died, he only implanted amaterasu in sasuke and used tsukyomi on zetsu so he can escape.

Ok im going to say my opinion. Obito is tobi and madara is in tobi as said above. Yes they said Madara is immortal. Yes they said Obito died. But here is something to think about. They said Orochimaru reached immortality, though he was still mortal. Orochimaru reached immortality by stealing bodies. It is possible that Madara managed to steal Obitos body before he died. So here is my guess. Obito=Madara=Tobi

Madara had controlled the kyuubi but…..kyuubi has unlimited chakra….I don’t know how Much Madara control it for long….And now It’s In Naruto’s body…And if naruto Dies…he need to die at least a heroic death (saving sasuke or something for the village)like his father…..He can’t die defeated!Other wise why the serious is”NARUTO”?!?

Okay, here’s the thing. Sasuke fought Itachi and killed him. All the while, Itachi told Sasuke about Madara. After Sasuke fought Itachi, Tobi came and took Sasuke before Naruto and others could. Tobi/Madara (yes, Kisame and Itachi reconized this) told Sasuke about the real truth behind Itachi. This made Sasuke hate Konoha more and now Sasuke is out for revenge by destroying Konoha while Tobi/Madara uses him as a puppet. In my opinion, I think in the end Sasuke is gonna end up fighting Madara with his new Mangekyou Sharingan. Yeah, and this battle is gonna be pret-ty epic!

uchiha madara can not die because it has something to do with his sharingan and his amount of chakra its almost unlimited.
most likely is madara and pein will try and kill naruto and itachi is still alive and he will be trying to steal sasukes eyes when he gets the manekyou sharingan which will be any time now since he probably will kill orochimaru and kabuto that might make him gain it since he was his teacher.

come on guys how do you not know what happens in this its freaking obvious itachis the good guy and when sasuke finds out he cries like a bitch because he killed itachi marada takes sasuke under his wing and they go after the last tailed beasts sasuke now plans to seek revenge on the leaf hidden in the leaf for give itachi the order to destroy the uchiha clan which i personaly felt like was needed anyway narutos becoming the toad sage oh and naruto has been given the god of sun ability thats the thing where he creates flames that are black in color

Madara cannot die because he stole his brother’s Sharighan eye. When you take your brothers (Sharinghan) eyes, you obtain an infinite amount of chakra and immortality.

I think component of this story is obito-madara-tobi. Orochimaru steal obito before his dead for madara and madara killed orochimaru for have immortality from orochimaru. Madara stupid!!

kakashi copied the mongekyou shringan from itachi…….coz he was too talented…and the reason fro madara’s immortality is due to the potency of his chakra…Moreover the rinnegan is much more powerful than the sharingan….the Sage of the six paths who created the ninja world possesed it..itachi gives the MS to sasuke by touching on his forehead before dying…he does it so that sasuke will burn madara with the ametarsu whenver sasuke sees the sharingan eye of madara…although he escapes…from it

and tells hime the full truth, then sasuke becomes an akatsuki member along with his team called the hebi but rename it to taka

Look guys…. you know nothing… illtelll you. Tobi is Madara. Obito saved kakshis life when young. Kakashi and obito lost one eye each. KAkashi took obitos eye so he has sharingan. madara is immortal because he has two ms because of his bro. orochimaru has a ninja technique to make himlive long. Sasuke is going to meet up with madara and naruto.They will have a cupof coffee and then chat about the future events. They will peace and sasuke will be like jiraiya and naruto the hokage and madara lives far away because he is da strongest. He will save later.

vok guys i always believed that Tobi is Obito and for everyone that says his dead and cant be true well what about Madara they say he died in the valley of the end so there is as much chance that tobi is obito as much as tobi is madara
now that danzou has the sharingan he must be some sort uchiha right my guess is that he is madara while tobi is obito.
plus we only know about kakashi’s past and we dont see him in any action at all got to do with his “own” storyline so my guess is that something will happen when Tobi reveals that he is Obito

i personally think that sasuke will lose this battle, considering SHIFFRAW’s facts about the glossy black thing which kishi said, we may conclude that itachi will use amaterasu whose fire flames are pure black as lustrous realm stated above….furthermore if madara have been using the mangekyou sharingan for sooooo long then why he not blind,…and almost every pictures of his we cud see only his left eye, not the right one,…i think his secret lies in his right eye!!!

if you know anything about naruto you would know that madar had a brother who was a prodigy, madara was jealous of his brother and once realizes what using his eyes did (make him go blind) he betrayed his brother and stole his eyes and lied to the village claiming his brother simply offeres his eyes for the sake of the village
