Summary

The chapter begins by showing that Luffy has accepted Brook as a nakama.

All of them were overjoyed that Brook joined the crew and even Laboon could sense it from far away and was equally excited. Brook then showed everyone his bounty and it was worth 33,000,000 beri.

Two days later, a grave was erected for the Rumbar Pirates by Franky and Usopp. Brook was overjoyed and grateful to them. After everyone was ready, they were about to set off when Captain Lola gave Nami a Biblicard. A Biblicard is a paper of life and it will remain undamaged even if it gets wet or burnt. Also, it’ll point towards the direction of the other half of the Biblicard which it is taken from and so, this will allow two friends who have been separated to find each other easily.

Luffy and Nami remembered that Ace once gave Luffy a white paper just like the Biblicard. Captain Lola took a look at it and saw that it was burning and getting smaller and smaller. She told Luffy regretfully that this paper represents the life force of its original owner and that this person’s life is vanishing.

Personal Opinions

Oh great. This is what I’ve been waiting for so long. Finally, Brook has joined Luffy’s crew!!! But that’s not what I’m referring to since even a baby can guess that.

The most exciting part about this chapter (and subsequent ones too) has to be the fact Luffy finally knew that his brother is in danger. I bet he’s going to put aside his trip to Merman’s Island and dive straight to Impel Down to save him. With the help of the Biblicard, finding him should be of no problem. How great would it be if Luffy would be able to meet both Whitebeard and Shanks at Impel Down? That would most certainly be an eye-opener!

I can’t wait to see the marines getting their asses kicked, hard!
