Summary
The chapter begins by showing that Nnoitra was lying on the ground heavily injured after having received a sword blow from Kenpachi.
Kenpachi thought that Nnoitra couldn’t fight anymore and bade him farewell. However, Nnoitra told him that this fight ain’t over yet. Kenpachi said that he had no wish of finishing a guy who couldn’t even fight back. Nnoitra then forced himself to stand up and he charged towards Kenpachi.
Flashbacks of Nnoitra and Nel were then shown. Nnoitra had been given orders to seek out the Vasto Lorde but he was killing all the hollows. Nel was lecturing him over this and Nnoitra was agitated by her words. Nel then told him that the reason why she kept following him was because he was weaker than her.
Nnoitra hates others who take pity on him and vows to smash them all to pieces. With the final blow from Kenpachi, Nnoitra fell to the ground. Before falling, Nnoitra and Nel exchanged glances with one another.
End

Cool Kenpachi

Weak Nnoitra

He forced himself to stand back up…

But with just a swing of Kenpachi’s sword…

Personal Opinions
Truth be told, I’m actually quite disappointed with how this fight ends, and I seriously wish that this ain’t over yet. If Kenpachi is just gonna win by using 2 hands, I can seriously say that I’d rather watch Karin VS. Yuzu. Where’s my Shikai or Bankai?!?
But with the defeat of Nnoitra (I assume so? Or do would he still stand back up AGAIN?), I suppose it’s time for Ulquiorra to be released now. This fight between Kenpachi and Nnoitra certainly ain’t good enough to showcase Kenpachi’s prowess. I would most certainly love to see him fight against the 4th Espada. That would definitely then be the epic battle of this Hueco Mundo story arc.
Also, Nel seems to have some feelings for Nnoitra, despite how he has treated her all this while… Maybe Nel would save Nnoitra and fight Kenpachi? Well, let’s look forward to the next chapter!
Nnoitra looked at Nel before he “died” so maybe he also might have a microscopic feeling for her.
It makes no sense at all…earlier in the series, ichigo defeated zaraki with just his shikai alone…even if zaraki was not fighting at full force, ichigo got his bankai after that and his hollow powers…even with his new vizard powers, he would have been just about an even match for nnoitra if they had fought…hence, how could zaraki be able to defeat nnoitra?
Because Kenpachi has learned the power of using TWO HANDS!!!
My god you guys can bitch! You forget that Ichigo was using Zangetsu’s power. And also apparently no one takes into consideration that maybe just maybe Kenpachi was training over the 3 Month Span?! Anyways I’m glad Bankai nor Shikai was shown. Builds more Tension for when he finally pulls it out.
To tell you the truth i ain’t really looking forward to this battle, Nnoitra being defeated means only one thing Kenpachi is stronger and because Ichigo had a hard time against Grimmjow he was not able to give Nnoitra a good fight but in Ichigo and Grimmjows fight showed a huge gap between a vizard and an arrancar
I dont get this??..Why is it that Ichigo gets smashed from Nnoitra, but gives a hiding to Kenpachi
Again, Kenpachi Zaraki told you during the fight between him and Ichigo that his sword was ALWAYS in Shikai form. What about this is hard for you people to grasp?
You all keep begging to see his Shikai, well, why don’t you look right at it, he’s ALWAYS fighting with it. And on another note, Zaraki does not have a Bankai, so stop whining to see it. He is famed to be the only Captain in the history of Soul Society to never achieve Bankai. What makes you think that you are going to see him with a Bankai any time soon? What makes Zaraki such a “fan favorite” is that he can perform at Captain levels without the use of a Bankai.
And your threats towards the author, Tite Kubo, are laughable. So just shut your trap, b/c you are only making yourself sound dumber.
Kenpachi Zaraki does not have Bankai OR Shikai. during his first fight with ichigo he stated that he couldn’t/didn’t hear his zanpaktou’s “voice” because he always fought by himself with his own strenght. how can you still ask to see his bankai if he doesn’t even have a shikai.
P.S. it’s Ichigo who’s always in his shikai form, not Zaraki
monkey238, you are wrong, zaraki does have shikai, its just like ichigo’s sword, both zaraki and zangetsu tell ichigo that his sword was in shikai form already, back in soul society arc.
now everyone\’s getting into an arguement between shikai and bankai. really, nnoitra lost and ken has hidden power, so that\’s it, what\’s done cannot be undone :/
where the hell is nel
Everyone on here has a lot of good points. However, everyone fails to realize that Ichigo gets stronger DURING his fights. Just like when he fought Zaraki Kenpachi, Kuchiki Byakua, or anyone else for that matter.. Kurosaki always pulls something out of his ass at the last minute (and even then just barely wins).
That is to say, that it isn’t an opponent he didn’t fight once already and lose to, only to train based around THAT fighter’s performance.
Keep in mind with Grimmjow, he got his ass handed to him more than once, and trained with HIM in mind (or Ulquiorra) while his opponents stay as strong as they were.
It’s Ichigo’s determination to protect his friends that is his biggest drive. I think that had Ichigo had a chance to heal after fighting Grimmjow, he would’ve put up a better fight against Nnoitra and possibly could have defeated him…. because notice after being healed he rushed straight to Aizen’s throne room and his strength sort of surprised Ulquiorra; and that was without even using his Hallow transformation.
My point is that Ichigo “lucks out”… alot… but if you compare the time Ichigo’s been a Shinigami to every other Shinigami, he is quite powerful and I seriousluy doubt anyone before him who had so little training has became THAT strong as fast as he has.

Nnoitra deserves to die.
