Summary

The chapter begins by showing the Iron-Mask Duval’s strong desire to kill the Strawhat Crew immediately.

Hacchin overheard them and was afraid that Caimey had been kidnapped by the Strawhats. Shortly after, the Strawhats arrived at their destination. They saw Hacchin who was covered in black ink. In order to uncover his true identity, Sanji played a trick on him by asking him how’s Arlong doing. Hacchin fell for the trick and the Strawhats found out that he really is the Hacchin from the Arlong Pirates.

The Strawhats refused to save him and Caimey and Pappagg then jumped into the sea to save him, but was caught almost immediately. Nami then concluded that Hacchin was actually harmless and that after all, they had already promised Caimey to save him. Luffy then stole Caimey and Pappagg from the enemies’ hands and they got ready for battle.

Luffy jumped onto a Flying Fish. He then accidentally fell into the sea and was saved by the rest. The Macro Crew was about to get Caimey when Zoro released Hacchin from his iron cage and he defeated the Macro Crew with his Takoyaki Punch. One of the Flying Fish Rider was planning to do a ‘kamikaze’ on Thousand Sunny, but was successfully stopped by Luffy and Sanji.

Brook then revealed his ability by playing a lullaby which caused the enemies to fall asleep. Luffy was pumped up and jumped once again onto a Flying Fish, but dropped into Duval’s room accidentally. He was freaked out upon seeing him.

Personal Opinions

Iron-Mask Duval – Just who could he be? But judging from his size and his massive armors, lots of people are speculating that he’s Don Creek. If he really is Don Creek, I’ve seriously no idea how he could reach the New World faster than the Strawhats, who are also much stronger than him. Still, I don’t think he would be of any threat to the Strawhats, considering that his former bounty was only 17,000,000 beli if I’m not wrong… Also, with so many new added members to the Strawhat Crew, it would take more than a mere Don Creek to defeat them.

Well, we could be wrong too.

This story arc seems like a recollection of the past though. First, it was Hacchin. Next it was Duval, or whoever that guy is. I hope we don’t see Buggy next… Just how much longer would it take before they finally reach Merman’s Island?!? I want to see Jimbei!!!
