Naruto 396 - Where’s Tobi’s spiked hair? He looks ugly without it!
Summary
The chapter begins with Kakashi wondering who the hell was Tobi and why did he possess the Sharingan.
Tobi and Zetsu then made their way to where Sasuke and Itachi were, and Kakashi and his team followed thereafter with the help of Hinata’s Byakugan. Tobi and Zetsu reached there almost immediately and they took their bodies.
Kakashi and team was reaching their destination when they were blocked by the remains of Amaterasu. Yamato used his Wood Element technique to cut a path through the burning forest so that the rest of the team could get through safely. However, they found that they were too late as Sasuke’s body was already gone by then.
The next scene showed Sasuke awakening in a dark room. Tobi was there too and he told him that he had something important to tell him. Seeing that Sasuke was not interested, he told him that it was about his brother, Itachi. He began by introducing himself, and he took off his mask partially, revealing his right Sharingan eye and part of his face. Sasuke was stunned.

Personal Opinions
Nothing much in this chapter, except that it revealed the awesomeness of next week’s chapter. We shall see the ‘truth’ about Itachi by Tobi [or Madara or Obito or Yamato (WTF?!?)]. Is he going to say that Itachi was actually a good guy all this time while Sasuke has always wronged him? I would admit that I would certainly love this twist! It’s always heartening to see how a bad guy becomes a good guy in the end, just like the case with Gaara.
Another thing in this chapter which I want to point out was the shortness of Tobi’s hair… How the hell did it become so short and ugly when it was originally spiked?!? I always thought that he’s way more cooler than Pain since he’s an Uchiha. Well, I hope he’s only wearing a cloth or something to cover his hair… If not it would really look damn ugly.
Alright, enough of this senseless rant on hair. Let’s get on with life.

Tobi is Obito and Madara. All the signs point to it.

fist of all i want to get this off my chest how can sasuke make one of his eyes go sharingan and one of them not sharingan at the same time
not only do i think itachi is good byt TOBI IS GOIng TO TELL SASKUKE THAT itachi was meant to die that it was planned out because remember during the end of the battle when zetsu is confused becuase he said that itachi would normally dodge the shots that sasuke made but did not decide to.. YOU CHECK
fear not itachi will return he will be revived by pein(nagato) he is blind. but at the cost of his sharingan he gets back his vision. so itachi fans the real uchiha will be back.
i thought that the stunned faces was half of sasuke’s and tobi’s!!!!….but nw i knw its only for sasuke that stunned face……So sasuke can control his sharingan independently!!!…F***…maybe its becoz he don’t have enough chakra yet to activate both sharingan!!!
to all you guys itachi uchiha will return.he will be revived by the infamous nagato(pein).although he is blind now nagato restores his vision but at the price of not being able to use sharingan.itachi will still own many though.he was a prodigy afterall.not only in doujutsu but in ninjutsu and taijutsu.so for itachi fans like me.be happy the true uchiha will return.

@ SHIYE by the way nagato and pein are not the same person, if you read those chapters again u will notice that. No one knows who pein really is remember when jairaya was just about to say out loud his true identity but then his throat got cloged

yo i just saw the spoilers for naruto manga chapter 397 and sasuke has the mangekyou sharingan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! yes he really does and in one of the pics sasuke uses amaterasu on tobi/madara but its only a weak ember. i think tobi/madara took itachis eyes and replaced it with sasukes
assassin read the manga itachi set it up for trap for mandra to be killed he set it up with the poke and gave sasuke all of his techniques. He really did care about his little brother!
If you guys read the translated 397 Naruto chapter you’d know that Itachi was good all along, and the Magekyou sharingan that Sasuke had was transferred to him by Itachi with the poke on the forehead as Itachi’s last attempt to kill Tobi.
this is why itachi will be revivied trust me.its by nagato.i messed up when i said pein.but nagato will heal itachi and since sasuke has all of itachis eye techniques he will only have regular eyes for the moment. also i’m no miss.
y do u think that itachi will b revived wats tha point of that. i mean it would b a shocking twist but wats the point
