Bleach -105 & -104 - The Mysterious Disappearances in Rukongai
Summary
The chapter begins with Kisuke telling Mayuri that he was going to set up an organization within the 12th Squad called the Research and Development Institute.
Kisuke would like Mayuri to be the vice-president of the institute. Kisuke added that if he were to die, then it would all be left under Mayuri’s control. Mayuri agreed to it.
Back at the Kuchiki mansion, Byakuya was training. His grandpa returned, bringing with him a visitor. Byakuya saw that it was Yoruichi, and he called her a demon cat. In an instance, Yoruichi stole his hair tie. Byakuya was angry and he chased after her. His grandpa hoped that Byakuya could rid himself of that rash attitude one day.
Back at Soul Society, Jyuushirou was persuading Kaien to be his lieutenant. However, he declined the offer. Jyuushirou told him about a genius kid who graduated from the shinigami academy after just one year. He’s younger than Byakuya and he obtained a seated position as soon as he was assigned to the 5th Squad.
The scene then changes to show Aizen observing one of the genius kid’s fight with the 5th Squad’s Third seat. Aizen asked him for his name and he replied, “Gin, Ichimaru Gin.”
Gin told Aizen that the 3rd seat was hopeless, not worth talking about.
9 years later
Kisuke went to look for Shinji, who later told him about the mysterious disappearances in Rukongai. These people disappear without a trace, leaving only their clothes behind. The matter was being investigated by the 9th Squad.
Kensei was the 9th Squad Captain and Mashiro was his lieutenant. Mashiro was complaining and was getting on Kensei’s nerves. At there, a huge hollow suddenly appeared and Kensei defeated it with his Shikai, Tachikaze, by giving it the command, “Blow!”
Kensei saw that a kid was crying and he told him to stop that and to smile. He pulled him up and asked him for his name. He answered, “Hisagi Shuhei.”
Mashiro then came out and told Kensei that she found ten shinigami robes in the bushes. Coincidentally, there were ten vanguards who went beforehand to investigate this mysterious case.

Personal Opinions
I really like the part where Yoruichi went to visit Byakuya. Now I know why Byakuya dislikes Yoruichi so much… It seems that Byakuya constantly got bullied by Yoruichi XD
At that time, it wasn’t shown whether Byakuya was a seated officer in any Squad. However, Gin, who was younger than Byakuya, had already gotten himself a seated position. Does this mean that Gin is much stronger than Byakuya? It’s hard for me to imagine that after I’ve witnessed Senbonzakura’s incredible power… Could Shinsou possibly be stronger than that?
At such a young age, Gin could already defeat a 3rd seat. He’s indeed a genius kid. I would love to see Toushirou fight him at that age…
One surprise in chapter -104 is that Kensei was indeed the 9th Squad captain, and his Shikai is called Tachikaze. Apparently, it can blast up an object in an instant or so it seems. That seems to be pretty strong to me… Though nothing more than that was revealed.
What I’m looking forward to the most in these flashback chapters is actually Ichigo’s dad, Isshin. I would definitely love to know whether he was indeed a Captain at that time…
I think there would be about three to four more flashback chapters before we get back to the present. I really miss Ichigo’s fight with Ulquiorra!
I’m still hoping it’s like 103-104 more chapters. I want to see the ENTIRETY of the dissention of … how many captains? Demon Cat, Pretty Boy, Super Hair, Afro Samurai, Mr.-Too-Awesome-For-Sleeves, Hachi (who pretty much HAS to be 10th captain because he isn’t violent enough to be 11th), and Super Scientist #1. 8 Captains, 5 lieutenants. plus i’m betting tessai’s a captain, probably 11th. more than half of Soul Society’s fighting force just decides to get up and LEAVE. I find that infinitely more interesting than the battle between Ulquiorra and Ichigo, which we know will either be a tie or Ichigo will win. that or Ulquiorra’s release rapes him and somebody saves him. But honestly, I’d rather have 100+ more chapters detailing what went on in soul society a century ago (including battles, urahara’s trial and consequental banishment with yoruichi and possibly the vizard following, plot twists, etc). Then we can get back to the current plot concerning the Espada.
Now, what I would like to see here - and it ain’t never gonna happen, so its safe to mention - is the flashbacks getting interspersed. That is, we get to a point here where something big goes down. Aizen tries to gain hallow powers, someone kills someone else, etc. Something that ties back to the Ichigo / Ulquiorra fight. Which we then get to.
Pendulums swing. It would be nice if, as we go through, it occasionally swung back here until we got all 108 of the past chapters. Though that is a little ‘Lost’ish, and of course if done wrong would quickly start to suck.
the vaizards are 8 people in all..and urahara & youruichi and isshin which makes 11 people in all who were exiled from soul society. in the latest chapter, 10 shinigami clothes were found in the bush and are supposed to be for the guilty ones. I think 10 of the shinigami s were framed by the guilty ones and are exiled from SS and 1 shinigami(maybe isshin) objected the decision and was also exiled due to the objection!!!..its just a guess

k, in bleach -101 all of the future vizard assemble at the campground. it looks like kensei was FORCED to be a vizard. it seems as if the others will follow suit.
